Well, we had our first official Life Group meeting at our house-with me leading that is.. It felt good again to be part of a group-it was awesome..
Worship was awesome this morning with Josh Lambert and I heard alot of good things this morning.. Next week the band will be back, rested up, and ready to worship once again, in full force. Hopefully you will begin to see alot of changes within our Worship Team and it’s changes for the better.. What do you think?? Would you change anything? Music? Lights? Sound?? I need some ideas, so please feel free to comment for improvements..
I’m ready for this week to begin I guess.. College is right around the corner and my schedule will pick up alot.. I begin on Oct. 14/16th, and that will leave me 2 classes before I receive my Master’s In Education-Degree.. I’m so stoked and excited!! Wow, I will have a Master’s Degree!! God is great isn’t He??!!
I have a meeting with Sam tomorrow evening just to cover a few things and discuss some upcoming stuff.. I’m excited he’s talking to me and allowing me to be a part of it, it’s awesome!!
Well Tasha, we started to set up webcam, but decided not too because they say the camera puts on 10 lbs, and I can’t afford to get any bigger!!!!! Lol

Well, we had our 2nd night of Life Group and boy was it awesome!! Charles and Amber came over early to play Guitar Hero; they were introduced to it on Friday night. Life Groups began at 6 and they were here at 4:30 to get started early!! (Guitar Hero that is..) As things were getting interested, our Pastor Sam B. rolled up and low and behold-”I dislike this game!!” Of course after that statement we all had to pick ourself up from the floor from laughing so hard at his screaming comments.. “Work hands work!!!! Oh My GOSH I can’t believe this!!! UGHHH THIS GAME IS DRIVING ME NUTS!!!!!!” 9 games later, I played him and he beat me.. I’m so glad he enjoyed his self and I can’t wait until we all do it again..Not only did we get Amber and Charles and Sam hooked on it, but another couple Owen and Shannon also played about 4 games as well. We all had a blast!! It reminds me of our “Hometeam” back in Alabama where we had the same relationship as we’re starting to get up here. God always told us to be patient, wait on Him and He would give us what we needed-when we need it.. God is so good..
We prayed for our Pastor tonight as our hearts are passionate for Riverridge Church. We’ve had so many obstacles in our way in order for us to get started, but I know God has great plans for us and I’m excited for being a part of it.. Pray for Sam and I as we meet tomorrow to finalize some things and for the people of our church, and Douglasville.
We would like to express to those who come as much as you can and help with set-up, in the kids’ room, worship or otherwise, THANK YOU SO MUCH for your dedication and help!! You guys make it happen and without you, we couldn’t do what we do.
